"Haleigh was incredibly easy to work with and delivered high-quality work that exceeded our expectations. We'd love to work with her again!"
In 2013, I graduated from Broome Community College with an associate's degree in dental hygiene. I practiced as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Syracuse, New York for a couple years, but I quickly discovered that the office life wasn't for me.
The open road beckoned me in 2015, and I heeded the call. I swapped out my scaler for a laptop, settled down in Nepal, and I've been here ever since.
Although I no longer practice dental hygiene, I still have a passion for educating others about the importance of visiting a dentist and taking care of their teeth. This fuels my writing and helps me craft copy that is both medically accurate and engaging.
Over the past few years, I've done most of my work for clients on the freelancing platform Upwork.
When I'm not churning out dental copy, I enjoy taking my dog for a walk in the jungle, tweaking my pizza dough recipe, collecting stamps, yodeling, knife throwing, line dancing, spelunking, cross-stitching, and–
Nah, I'm just kidding.
I only do a few of those things.
But one thing I still do (almost) every day?
